It's not fast
but
slow.
At no speeding pace
the unnoticed dripping of time
in
which
we accept our glut
that
lust
and make our stomach our god.
With no sober mind or judgement
we
accept.
And forced to drink the mirth
that
poison
in
silence
We suck it down
guzzle
and
glut
for them.
The world will change
it
will change
And pressure to subdue us
to remake us in their image
and break our knees to bow
before
their gods.
And shame those who don't
play
along.
If we have no will of our own
we will succumb to the will of others.
and
accept
and
accept
and
accept.
Not fast
but
slow
But I will not
will
not
will
not
I
will not.
It's the slow drip that wears the stone.
